Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) & Weight Gain

Does Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Cause Weight Gain?

There is much debate about the affect of HRT on weight gain.

Many women blame HRT for weight gain: in fact up to 13 percent quit HRT for this reason.

However, there is no proven scientific link between HRT and weight gain. According to a study in the Journal of American Medical Association, women who didn’t take HRT gained more weight than those who did take HRT.
