If You Have Insulin Resistance

Join My Weight Loss Program and Choose My GI Diet

Best Diet For Insulin Resistance

Insulin resistance occurs when our body cells become insensitive to the effects of insulin. A major contributory reason why people become insulin-resistant is because they eat too many refined carbohydrate foods. These foods are rapidly converted into glucose causing the pancreas to produce large amounts of insulin in order to disperse the glucose. Over time, these high levels of glucose and insulin in the bloodstream cause the body to become less responsive. As a result, many insulin resistant patients either develop type 2 diabetes, or chronic obesity as well as high blood pressure, high levels of triglycerides, low HDL cholesterol, heart disease, and possibly some cancers.

If you have insulin resistance, I strongly recommend my GI Diet Plan.

My GI Diet Improves Insulin Sensitivity

My GI Diet improves insulin sensitivity because it includes only moderate or low-GI foods. These lower-GI carbs help to maintain stable blood sugar levels thus minimizing the amount of excess glucose and insulin in the bloodstream. As well as being excellent for weight loss, my GI diet also improves cravings, fatigue, mood swings and general health.
